Mario Badescu opened his now legendary Skin Care Salon in Manhattan in 1967 after immigrating to New York from Romania in the 1950s.  Mario Badescu's Old World skin care techniques quickly gained him a loyal following at his Salon and after dozens of requests from clients he began creating a line of premium products using fresh fruits, botanicals and other natural ingredients.
